Australia has welcomed nearly one million Australian theatregoers with sold out seasons in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth. The Brisbane season opens in May 2023 and will be a sell-out season as well.
Global Creatures today announced Moulin Rouge! The Musical will commence performances at Sydney’s Capitol Theatre on 28 May 2022.
Tickets are currently on sale through to 7 April 2022 exclusively through Ticketmaster.
The production will open in the European Autumn of 2022 at the Musical Dome Cologne.
Courtney Reed and Conor Ryan lead cast premiering in Chicago February 2022.
The production won a total of 10 Tony Awards including Best Musical.
Australian-produced Moulin Rouge! The Musical will be competing for 14 awards including Best Musical at the upcoming 74th Annual Tony Awards on Monday 27 September AEST.
Liisi LaFontaine will star as Satine, and Jamie Bogyo (making his West End debut) will star as aspiring writer Christian.
Chloe started in the newly created role on July 12th following ten years in higher education.
